  • LOL to O.A.R. being sold out

    January 4, 2009 1 Comment

This message is for those who think O.A.R. has sold out. I DON'T THINK SO!!!! This is one of the very few bands who actually take the time to give back to their fan base. From a personal experience, these guys are very down to earth and fun to hang with. They each signed my wife's shirt, shook our hands and hung out with us. They don't have to do that, but that is what makes them O.A.R. As for being sold out, I am guessing one is referring to the change in music style. Hey, that is their job to make music that people want to listen to.(If not, they'd probably be selling insurance for income). I think they have done that pretty fricking well. Let's see, verizon commercials, college football lead ins, oh yeah top chart lists...
Yes I agree that their older stuff is slightly better, but its all good. They will get back to their roots. All great musicians do that and that is what O.A.R. is, a great band. I say rock on O.A.R. and keep it real.

    Peace

Worked the Bucknell concert with my wife as part of REVERB. Reverb was an awesome experience as was getting the chance to meet O.A.R. We want to personally thank Reverb and a huge thank you to Marc , Richard, Benji, Chris ,and Jerry. Big respect to you guys for taking the time to autograph my wife's shirt ( which is now framed and hanging in the basement, kick ass man!) and to talk and relate to your fans. Much respect that is what it is all about!!!!! Marc, Richard, Benji, Chris, Jerry... Keep it rockin guys and stop by, drinks are on us!
